A series of related incidents built toward the point of greatest interest.
Series of events that begin immediately after the introduction of the story and
builds up to the climax.
Usually the most important parts of the story since the entire plot depends on them
to set up the climax, and ultimately the satisfactory resolution of the story itself.

3. Rising Action Tips
Make the rising action part appear seamless as one entire
unit. One solution is to connect each sequence. One set of
actions may result from the consequences of previous
actions, or the antagonist might respond with new counter-
actions, which create new obstacles.

A man comes up to the girl and ask her where
is she going, the girl then told him. Then he
picked up some flowers and disguised himself
as a woman then went to the place through a
shortcut and hid behind the tree, getting
ready to ambush the girl and kidnap her.

6. Falling Action
Definition: The complications that occur within
the story, prolonging and developing the central
conflict. Resolution of character/s crisis. The
part of a literary plot that occurs after the climax
has been reached and the conflict has been
resolved.
