The dark and rainy night cast shadows in the hospital ward as patients lay restless in their beds. The rough bed linens and smell of fear in the air disturbed the patients. However, when a nurse heard an unexpected whisper from a patient who rarely spoke, she realized the rain was scaring the patients. By pulling the curtains shut, she blocked out the noise of the thunderstorm, bringing a calming feeling to the patient.

2. The dark night casted a hooded shadow against the windowsill of the B ward in the
hospital as the rain pelted heavily against the misty window surface,it was
freezing.
The rough touch of the fabric of the inclined bed made the old patients fragile
body feels cocooned by soft thickly woven fabric.
The smell of sweaty air around them smelt of fear and desperation when combined
with the heavy breathing and constant mumbling and muttering of the patients. The
gentle voice of the nurses caring tone travelled to the ears of the patient waking
her up to take her medicine which was syrupy and cold.At that point of time when
the nurse heard an unexpected whisper from the patient that rarely spoke ,she then
noticed that the rain was scaring the patients.She then pulled the curtain stringi
and the curtains fell neatly into place, softening the noise of the thunder and a
reasurring feeling then fell upon the patient.
