Product Organizing a party for our Friends Club play. _______
Date/Time: Activity: Comment/Suggestion
August 25, 2011 Met with Mrs. Wallace & came to the s:
1 Hour conclusion of a Fall Festival for
Friends Club.
Commentary: I felt this would be a fun
idea for the children in the club and
something our school would enjoy
getting involved in.
August 30, 2011 Activity: Decided to change the
1 Hour project to the party for their play, Toy
Story 2.
Commentary: I was equally excited
about helping out & organizing the
socialistic aspects of having two
parties for the children.
September 7, 2011 Activity: Met with Mrs. Wallace for
1 Hour the second time to discuss the amount
of items required for the party.
Commentary: I felt overwhelmed at
first, then we decided that getting
involved with Friends Club would be
a great help!
Activity: I made first draft of the sign
September 16, 2011 up sheet.
1 Hour Commentary: The sign up sheet was
made for volunteers willing to get
involved with the party.
November 9, 2011 Activity: Missed meeting. Discussed
1 Hour the amount of people that have
currently signed up.
Commentary: Since I had missed the
meeting, I felt behind because I felt
that people weren’t aware of what
2. was going on.
November 15, 2011 Activity: Purchased sandwich bags,
30 Minutes cookie dough, Capri Suns, & Publix
cookies. The total was $28.36.
Commentary: I felt that this would be
a good start to the multitude of
supplies we were going to need.
November 16, 2011 Activity: Purchased cups, pineapple
30 Minutes juice, & Seagram for punch. The total
was $13.58.
Commentary: This would be used for
the evening performance.
November 17, 2011 Activity: Morning performance- I
9 Hours arrived at 7:30 AM to set up. I missed
my first three periods. A few other
volunteered helpers, along with my
self, maintained the tables by setting
up decorations, passing out drinks,
& individually bagging cookies &
brownies made by myself & Friends
Club. These items were passed out to
other Special Needs classes from other
schools in Cherokee County. This took
approximately 4 hours. Evening
performance- I came back that day at
5:30 PM to prepare trays, punch,
situate cake made by Mrs. Biello,
coordinate arrangements, conduct
helpers to manage each table, & to
prepare set up post play. Everyone
enjoyed! This took approximately 5
hours.
