This document describes a game called "The Preserving Pan Pelt" that tests players' fitness, speed, flexibility, agility, and dexterity. The goals of the game are to throw 10 tokens into a pan in the center of a platform as quickly as possible while running around the outside of the platform without cheating. Players take turns throwing their tokens into the pan one at a time while circling the platform. The winner receives a prize of scones made in the preserving pan used in the game.
4. The goals…
• To throw all tokens, one at a time, into the pan while running around the
platform
• To throw all the tokens within the shortest possible time
• All this while not cheating

6. Let’s play…
• Place the pan in the middle of the platform
• Draw a circle on the ground, around the platform, 3 metres from the centre of the
pan
• Each contestant has 10 tokens
• Each contestant competes one at a time
• Each contestant uses the hand furthest away from the pan. If right handed the
contestant must run anti-clockwise around the platform. Left handed contestants
must run clock-wise around the platform.
7. But we must have r ules…
• Tokens must not be thrown at contestants
• Tokens must only be thrown while running
• Only one token at a time must be thrown
• Contestants must stay outside the 3 metre
circle
• When all tokens are thrown, any that fall
outside the pan may be retrieved, then the
contestant must return outside the circle
and commence running, throwing all
remaining tokens into the pan
• Running must continue until all tokens are
thrown
• No tripping other contestants
• And no spitting at them
