2. Introduction
Ancient China was an interesting important
civilization, because they made many inventions.
Studying Ancient China was interesting because
there are so many interesting facts. We know a lot
about farming, education, daily life and legacies in
Ancient China.
3. Life for a child in A.C.
Life for a child in Ancient China was very
hard, because the poor people doesnât have many
money to by food or clothes. In poor
families, women and girls worked all day. They did
farming, cooking, sweeping and washing. Poor
children learnt the job that parents did. Rich boys
hoping to became scholars and work for the
government had to study all day learn to read and
write Chinese characters and studied math.
4. legacy of Ancient China
In Ancient China they has 4 great invention:
compass, printing, writing, and gunpowder. Compass
was invented about 200 CE, Gunpowder was
invented at 142CE,writing was invented at 3000BCE,
and printing was invented at 650CE. The great wall
was built in the time of the first Emperor. The great
wall was mostly built by the army. In Ancient China
first they used chopsticks during the Shang Dynasty.
They invented the kite during the Zhou Dynasty.
Acupuncture comes from Ancient China. Later the
Chinese learned how to make gunpowder. They
invented fireworks and rockets. They made the
worldâs first mechanical clock.
5. Farming in Ancient China
8,000 years ago, most Chinese were already living as
farmers. The best soil (dirt for farming)was next to big
rivers in central china. In the north, most farms wore
poor who only owned a small part of land. They use
oxen and plow to plant the field. In the south most
farms were owned by rich nobles who then paid
poor peasants to grow crops on their farms. Farmers
raised pigs, ducks, chickens and geese, while oxen
and water buffalo were used as laboring animals on
the farm. One of Chinaâs most famous exports
tea, was first grown for drinking about 1,700 years
ago.
6. Conclusion
Studying about childâs daily life, legacies
and farming in Ancient China is very
interesting and important, because we can
learn about Ancient Chinaâs legacies to
Korea, and learn what Ancient China and
Ancient Korea legacies are not same.
