The company ident for the teaser trailer of the film 'What
If' is 'CBS Films'. The ident is shown 7 seconds into the
teaser trailer and is on screen for around a second. CBS
Films is an American film production and distribution
company founded in 2007 as a division of CBS Corporation
It's the world's ninth largest mini-major film studio. Different
variations of this company ident exist. For this light hearted
rom-com and more colourful and vibrant variation of the
CBS Films ident has been used. The colour scheme is orange
and blue which relates the theme of this film. Other
variations include black text on white, white text on a black.
4. BEGIN AGAIN
7 seconds into the teaser trailer for 'Begin' Again' the
company ident is shown. It lasts for a very short
duration. The Weinstein Company is an American mini-major
film studio founded by Bob and Harvey Weinstein in
2005 after the brothers left the then-Disney-owned
Miramax Films, which they had co-founded in 1979. For this
film the ident has a black ground with silver text which has a
gradient. Other variations of this ident include a white
background with grey text or the same as original one
however the name of the company has been abbreviated to
‘TWC’ yet it still creates an impact.
