How To Set Up Your Etix Selling Station
1. HOW TO SET UP YOUR
ETIX SELLING STATION
in 11 Easy Steps

2. EXAMPLE SELLING STATION
Etix laptops and ticket printers are pre-installed and interchangeable. Make
a selling station by combining 1 ticket printer and 1 laptop.
3. TICKET PRINTER
Your ticket printer should include the four items above.

5. STEP 1 REMOVE FRONT PANEL FROM PRINTER
Lift and remove front panel as shown. Set panel aside.
6. STEP 2 ATTACH TICKET TRAY
Find the ticket slot on the side of the printer and insert the tray’s plastic lip into
the slot.
7. STEP 3 PLUG IN AND POWER ON
Plug in power cable and click the on switch. You will hear the printer “boot up”.
8. STEP 4 SET PRINT HEAD INTO DOWN POSITION
Press down firmly on the lever above the print head as shown. It will click
into place.
9. STEP 5 LOAD TICKET STOCK
Place one stack of ticket stock in the bottom of the printer. Load ticket stock
face-up and white edge first. If you are standing in front of the printer, you
should be able to read the word “Etix” as shown.
10. CONTINUE LOADING STOCK
Slide ticket stock under the metal runner and towards the print head. Continue
until the printer grabs and resets ticket stock.
11. STEP 6 PRINT A TEST PAGE
Press the “TEST” button on top of the printer.
12. SUCCESS!
If you have loaded ticket stock correctly, a test page will print out as shown.
13. STEP 7 CONNECT TICKET PRINTER TO LAPTOP
Your ticket printer connects to your laptop via USB. Plug one end of USB cable
into the back of ticket printer as shown.
14. CONTINUE CONNECTING PRINTER TO LAPTOP
Plug the other end into the laptop USB port labeled “BOCA.” The printer driver
has been pre-installed on the laptop. No need to reinstall, simply plug and play.
15. STEP 8 POWER ON & PLUG IN PERIPHERALS
Power on your laptop. Plug in your credit card swipe & mouse into any USB port
that is not labeled “BOCA.”
16. STEP 9 LOG INTO WINDOWS
Click on the “Ticket Seller” user account on the right. NOTE: The “Admin” user
account is for Etix internal use only.
17. CONTINUE LOGGING IN
To retrieve your password, please check your email for a message titled
“Secure Laptop Login.” NOTE: The “Ticket Seller” password is for Windows
login only and is completely separate from your Etix username and password.
18. STEP 10 CONNECT TO INTERNET
Connect to your local secure wireless network or plug in directly via ethernet
cable.
19. STEP 11 ACCESS THE ETIX SYSTEM
Click on the “Etix” link in the middle of your desktop and login using Etix client
