Eric Cole will present on using Audacity for audio projects in a 7th grade LA classroom from 11:30-12:00 in room B208 on October 29, 2010. He will demonstrate how to use Audacity to allow students to record audio versions of classroom texts, stories, and assignments. This allows students to practice speaking skills, become more engaged with content, and learn a valuable 21st century skill. Students can then collaborate by editing the audio recordings together. Cole will provide tutorials and resources on using Audacity and suggestions for how completed audio files can be shared or published.
