    Did you know that we forget 80% of what we learn everyday?
    Your challenge for this lesson is to REMEMBER what you learn ready for start of next half term.
  • 2. Did you know that the average 4 year old asks 400 questions per day?
    Write a list of 10 questions that you have about the medium of film. We will see if our study of film next half term answers these questions.
  • 3. Film Studies
    Your next unit is Film Studies in which we are going to explore how films create meaning and establish relationships with their audience.
    In order to prepare for this you have to research the film industry.
    Answer the following questions...
  • 4. Research Questions
    What are the 6 different component parts of the film industry?
    Explain what each of these component parts entails and give examples.
    How many registered companies in the film industry? And of these What percentage are production, distribution and exhibition companies?
    What are the 12 steps in creating a film?
    Explain what each of these steps entails and give examples.
    Write a profile of a job in the film industry.
