  • 3. Now using of distance technologies in education become the main directionin the development of the education system in Kazakhstan.
  • 4. Meanwhile, in recent years there were discovered some problems in theimplementation and of distance education. The distance technologies weredistributed mainly in the cities and did not cover rural areas.

In 2011the e-Learning project was launched in 44 education institutions in a pilot mode.

CONCLUSIONThe main obstacles for the further development of distance education inKazakhstan are the low level of digital literacy of teachers, inadequatetechnical equipment in rural areas and non-system development of distancelearning in universities.For eliminate these disadvantages are designed The National EducationDevelopment Program, that focuses on the union of all the educationalresources into the national network and the gradual improvement of neededconditions for distance education development.
