Course Objectives

                          At the end of the course, students should be able to:

                          1.    Demonstrate an overall understanding of management principles,
                                practices, concepts and theories.
                          2.    Demonstrate an understanding of Islamic perspective to management.

                          1. Communication skills are developed through oral presentations of
                             management cases and discussions conducted during classes.
                          2. Problem solving and analytical skills are developed through case

                          3. Writing skills are developed through report writing.
                          4. Teamwork skills are developed through case analysis and group

                          functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling. Students are
                          exposed to the fundamental concepts of management behavior in order to
                          prepare them to best meet the challenges of managing the organizations
                          and coping with forces of the external environment.
