St. Katherine's school will hold its annual Food Festival from November 16th to 20th. The festival incorporates food-related activities and lessons across all subjects. It began as part of an award but has become a beloved tradition that enhances students' learning. Teachers are encouraged to plan food-themed lessons and submit their ideas by the end of term. The festival also includes a bake-off competition for students.

BAKE OFF
Do you fancy your self as the next Mary Berry? Why not enter our own annual
baking competition? Prizes are on offer, but the prestige is what it is all about.

What?
Whole school event, run annually since 2009 which aims to
introduce ‘food’ into lessons across all faculties.
Who?
All staff (teaching and support), as many students as possible.
Where?
Anywhere we can (kitchens, classrooms, corridors, outside)
Why?
Began as a requirement for the Food For Life Award, but is now a
much-loved and highly anticipated event which brings
enrichment to students’ learning and equips them with valuable
life skills.
