• KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: Improved, through training of staff, clinical documentation; created psychosocial
rehabilitation program for severe and mentally ill patients as a transitional program to help them learn to become
more independent in the community. Result was shorter lengths of stay, more successful discharges;

• First position at Lakeside. Supervised 20 therapists- clinic based and school based programs. Relationship building
with SEDNET program in Orange County Public Schools to increase identification of mental health issues in school
age children and link them to our services. Therapists were based at 1 or 2 schools and had full caseloads;
developed the outpatient clinic at the main building at Lakeside and worked to keep the link between Children’s
Med Clinic and Children’s Case Management department. Reviewed compliance issues; monitored outcome
measures.
• KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: Trained therapists in Medicaid documentation; increased monthly revenue and maintained,
even in “slow” months; “Rescued” a failing program at the Juvenile Detention Center program in 60 days.
Developed a resource website for therapists; received two agency awards for “Going the Extra Mile” and
“Outstanding Leadership” award from SEDNET.

• Supervised case managers in a SAMSHA grant-funded program called Community Assessment and Intervention
program targeting at-risk children who could not afford to access services they needed. Monitored outcome
