ā¢ Focuses more on beauty & tutorials (than fashion)
ā¢ Because thatās what Iām better atā¦also, I canāt afford new clothes everyday
ā¢ Looks that are attainable & affordable

ā¢ Selected friends / family know of it

8. DONāT TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY
ā¢ Itās just fashion peopleā¦I aināt saving any lives here!

ā¢ People like to laugh
ā¢ Iād like to think Iām pretty funny

ā¢ Nothing worse than a DRY read about how to do a cat-eye
ā¢ I like my readersā¦I want them to like me too

ā¢ Nothing too intimate, no work-related stuff, no rants
ā¢ Friends, colleagues, BOSSES can read it
ā¢ Letās keep it classy

ā¢ Giving LURVE to those who follow you by giving linking to
their blogs
ā¢ They will often times do it in return
ā¢ MOAR readers
ā¢ Bloggers tend to be the ones who leave comments / spread
the word

ā¢ They too will link out to you
15. BE RESPONSIVE / ATTAINABLE
ā¢ People take the time to leave comments or ask questions
ā¢ You should reply
ā¢ Leaving comments on others often will lead to other readers to ļ¬nd your blog

ā¢ People often guest blog on each otherās sites
ā¢ Companies will recruit bloggers to write for content
ā¢ For free / publicity

ā¢ It canāt hurt & often may give you new readers
