Lyme Disease By DelaHanyor Ahhhhhhh!!!!!
How Does it Spread? First: What is Lyme Disease? Lyme Disease is a tick-borne microbial disease that was first recognized in 1975. How Does It spread? Lyme Disease spreads in many ways before it comes in contact with a person. When an animal gets infected by the bacterium that causes the disease, ticks feed on those animals. Animals such as mice, chipmunks, deer, and other forest and grassy areas. As a result, the ticks also become infected. The tick usually stays attach to there prey for more than 36 hours to have a blood feast.

Eyes: You will feel pain and inflammation, blurred vision, sensitivity, and more. Ears: You will hear buzzing/ringing and have ears aches. Breathing: A person or animal would have difficulty breathing. A person would also have pneumonia which lung inflammation.
Prevention/ Treatment Luckily, the are many ways to successfully avoid getting Lyme Disease. 1.Wearing clothing that covers you limbs and body. Do this while you are along grassy and woody areas. Take caution for bushes. 2.Use insect repellants. 3.Tick proof your yard. Sounds funny, I know ,but if really helps. Be sure to cut down tress and clear bushes were ticks live.
Outcome Help! The outcome of having Lyme Disease really depends on the time treatment has come into hands. Some positive outcomes of having this disease treated at an early point is that is save a person from health problems for example; your nervous system would not be severely infected. If this disease is treated late its negative outcomes can cause joint problems , heart problems , and also problems within the nervous system. Arthritis can also come into place if not treated. Along with other negative outcomes of Lyme Disease, death can also take place. It seems as though there are more negative outcomes of this disease if not treated early and its true.
Interesting Facts -Disease is caused by a corck-screw shaped bacterium called Borreliaburgdorforeri. -Lyme Diseases has had more than 16,000 cases that were reported in 45 states in 1996. -Men often are reported to have the disease more than women. -The ticks often have stages of development of its host -A person starts to develop the rash of the disease for about 3-4 weeks. - In 1975, this disease was first diagnosed when two children were diagnosed as having rheumatoid arthritis (later classified as Lyme Disease.)
