1. Friendship Sans borders…A symbiotic learning experience
To celebrate the spirit of Internationalism, the genesis of which is embedded in our vision of
taking education beyond borders, the school hosted delegates from Chase town Community
School, United Kingdom from 10 October to 17 October. The guests were mesmerized by the
traditional welcome extended to them followed by the colourful cultural programme.
The visit was yet another opportunity to connect globally. The delegates were taken on a
guided tour of the school premises. They visited the classes, staff rooms, the library, computer
and science labs. They were thoroughly impressed and visibly excited as was evident from the
numerous questions they put forth about the curriculum and methodology of classroom
teaching in India.
During the seven days that they spent in school, they visited places in and around Delhi. The
highlights of their trip was the visit to Jaipur which captivated their imagination with its
ageless beauty and enigma.
The delegates pragmatically utilized their visit by assimilating the pleasures with deep
learning, sharing ideas and focusing on topics of concern. A healthy exchange of views took
place in the Open Discussion held between the students of our school and UK delegation.
The discussion provided an in-depth over view of political, economic, social, educational and
cultural life in United Kingdom and proved a great learning experience for the students.
The seven day trip was indeed a great learning experience. The visitors carried with them
warm impressions of a country rich in hospitality, richer in culture, holding forth the promise
of a better tomorrow.
