The teacher evaluation will be composed of 50% qualitative and
50% quantitative data. The qualitative measures will be derived
from the Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching and
Learning. The quantitative measures will be based on SLOs –
Student Learning Outcomes. The School Progress Index is part of
the quantitative measures.

 Student Handbook



There were minor changes to the current handbook. Interventions to
consider before suspending a student are listed in the three categories.
This summer assistant principals will be trained on new procedures to
help reduce suspensions.. There is a small change in the wording of the
cell phone policy. The handbook will be revised next year.
The proposal begins by incorporating the
opportunity under Option A in the Federal
Flexibility Guidance to reset Annual
Measurable Objectives (AMOs) for the coming
six years on a trajectory toward 2017, the time
by which each individual school is expected to
reduce its percent of non-proficient students
for each of its subgroups and overall by half.

Next, the goal is to cut the percent basic in half
Then, divide by six (2017 is six years from now)
Finally, add 1.96 to each subsequent year
100 -76.47= 23.53

    23.53 / 2= 11.765

      11.765 / 6=
      1.96

        76.47+ 1.96 =
