    • What do Google, IBM computer systems, and video games have in common?
    • -Programming
    • Programming is used to create phone apps
    • Smart phones are owned by numerous people
    • Phone applications are a significant part of the world today
    • Apps are a significant part of the experience

    • Programming is typically required in college for engineering
    • Allowing for a head start on what I will be learning
    • Designing an application seemed very interesting
    • Going through college applications was difficult

    • Saw the codes but did not learn how to write them
    • No other prior experience with programming
    • Learned dynamic HTML
    • Created my first phone application

    • Developed working knowledge of how dynamic HTML is used in industry
