THE TADOBA – PENCH WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE:
DAY 01: NAGPUR – TADOBA
Arrive Nagpur. Pick up from Railway Station / Airport and transfer to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. Arrive and check
in. Lunch at the Resort. After Lunch embark on a Jeep Safari in the Tadoba Tiger Reserve. It became a National Park
in 1955 and was declared as tiger reserve in 1995. Apart from the Tiger other mammals residing in the reserve
include leopard, jungle cat, panther, sloth bear, hyena, wild dog blue bull, Indian bison, sambar, spotted deer, barking
deer etc. Dinner, Film on wildlife and Overnight at the Jungle Resort. (L, D)
DAY 02: TADOBA TIGER RESERVE – NAGPUR
Early morning enjoy a Wildlife Jeep Safari in the Tiger Reserve. Return to the Jungle Resort for breakfast. Breakfast
and Lunch at the Reserve. Evening leave for a Jungle Walk to spot bird life around the Park. There are 195 species of
birds including crested serpent eagle, honey buzzard, paradise fly catcher. Dinner, Film on wildlife and Overnight at

DAY 03: TADOBA TIGER RESERVE – PENCH TIGER RESERVE
Early morning, after breakfast leave for Pench Tiger Reserve via Nagpur (212 km). Arrive Pench Jungle Resort and
check in. Lunch at the Reserve. After lunch leave for an Afternoon safari. A total of 758 Sq. kms of this Southern
Indian tropical moist deciduous forest. The Pench Reservoir at the center of the park is the only major water source
during the dry period. As prey concentration is high along the Pench River, tiger usually inhabits this belt. Other
animals that reside in this Reserve are the leopard, jackal, wild dogs in packs of fifteen, gaur in herds, chital, sambar,
nilgai, etc. Dinner and Overnight at the Jungle Resort. (B, L, D)
DAY 04: PENCH TIGER RESERVE
Early morning leave for a Jungle Safari in the Pench Tiger Reserve with packed breakfast. Return to the hotel for
lunch. Afternoon take a walk around the Jungle Resort. Pench Tiger Reserve is among the best areas for bird
watching. Four species of the now endangered vultures’ white-rumped, long billed, white scavenger and king vulture
can be seen in good numbers in the Reserve. The other fauna present include 10 amphibians, 30 reptiles, 45
butterflies, 54 moths and numerous other insects. Evening Dinner, Camp fire (or tribal dance) and overnight at the
Jungle Resort. (B, L, D)
DAY 05: PENCH – NAGPUR
Morning after breakfast leave for Nagpur Airport / Railway Station for onward destination. Tour ends. (B)
