2. Day 1 Arusha
Arrive JRO apt ex ET 815 at 1205hrs, after clearing immigration and customs formalities you will be meet by our
driver guide for meet and greet and thereafter receive a refreshment drinks and drive to Arusha
Dinner and overnight at Point Zone Hotel
Day 2 Half Day Mount Kilimanjaro Trekking
After breakfast, you will collect packed lunch and transfer to Marangu area. Once you arrive at the gate, and after
completion of administrative formalities and meeting with porters and guides, begin the 4 to 5 hour walk to Mandara
Hut. The walk is at a leisurely pace through a dense and humid forest to the hut. If you feel up to it at day’s end,
walk to the nearby Maundi crater for a long view over the plains & Lake Jipe, and in the distance; the Pare and
Usambara mountains. In the evening drive to Arusha
Dinner and overnight at Point Zone Hotel
Day 3 Tarangire
After early breakfast we check out and drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch arriving just in time for
afternoon game drive in the park, enjoying your first afternoon game drive Tarangire surrounded by ancient
baobab trees, and home of the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa, and other game including the elusive
leopard. Over 400 bird species can be spotted here as well. With water constantly available in the area, the
greenery is lush providing a wonderful contrast to the burnt ground.

Day 4 Ngorongoro
After breakfast, collect packed lunch and drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for Empakai Crater tour, with a
diameter of only 6 kms it is smaller than Ngorongoro, but very beautiful. This is a little-visited area and the only
means of access to the crater floor is on foot. The walls are steep and thickly-forested. The walk down, along a good
path, takes about 30 minutes involving a drop of about 300 metres and goes through patches of forest. Most of the

3. floor is occupied by a soda lake, 85 metres deep. The lake is also a home to black-winged stilts, little grebes, and cape
teal. You may not see many animals, but the tracks of leopard, hyena, baboon and buffalo betray their presence. In the
evening drive to your lodge. At Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge visitors co-exist in perfect harmony with the natural
environment and the wildlife that inhabits it

Day 5 Ngorongoro
This morning you will depart from the lodge after breakfast for a full day game drive with picnic lunch to the floor of
Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest Caldera. Game was trapped here during the formation of the Great Rift Valley
and has evolved itself for centuries. Today the volcano and surrounding landscape are part of a vast conservation
area inhabited by the Maasai tribe, as well as an extraordinary variety of big game and bird life. Most guest rooms
have private terraces with views of the crater floor where countless animals make their home. Return to your Lodge
in the evening for walking tour along the rim of Ngorongoro Crater floor
Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Day 6 Serengeti
Today you will collect packed lunch and drive to the prime attraction of Africa – Serengeti National Park, a
World Heritage Site! and Africa’s largest and most famous park with an astounding 16,000 sq kms of wild
paradise. Most famous for its annual migration of wildebeests and zebras, this is Africa’s best reserve. The
“Famous Five” await your arrival during an afternoon game drive – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino –
all in African style! Watch out for the Impala stags, giraffes, water bucks and more – found in this area.

Day 7 Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drives. The Maasai translation of Serengeti is "endless plains." This expansive park,
which covers over 23,000 square miles, is home to thousands of animals that form the annual migration, Early
morning and afternoon game drives allow you to explore the areas where thousands of animals gather in the
Serengeti during migration (movement varies month to month - but the herds are usually in the southern Serengeti
Dec-May), to bear their young and continue the pursuit of food and water. Behind the masses of migrating animals,
follows the ever-searching predators - watch as this life and death drama unfolds before you

Day 8 Serengeti

Safari in Swahili simply means a "journey". Nowadays it has become a synonym for wildlife viewing in the African
bush. We explore the endless plains to discover the vast expanse and wilderness of Serengeti. Indulge, take your
time and relish each moment spotting wildlife, We search for the most wonderful natural phenomenon, the Grand
Migration of thousands and thousands of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains in search of water and food.
Crossing fingers that we will see this, being something so natural and not manmade, we cannot guarantee, but
hopefully we'll experience it. Enjoy and cherish morning and afternoon game drives through the Park

Day 9 Serengeti / Lake Manyara
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park; thereafter drive to your camp for breakfast. After
breakfast collect packed lunch and proceed for morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Thereafter proceed to
Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include
some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. In the afternoon proceed to Lake Manyara area
