Mikumi National Park Safari (2 Days/1 Night)
Mikumi National Park is just 5 hours west of Dar es Salaam and situated between the Uluguru
Mountains, Rubeho Mountains, and Lumango Mountains. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth largest
national park and home to many of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife.
Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Mikumi (-/L/D)
After having breakfast we depart about AM 8 to make the 5-hour journey to Mikumi National Park.
Depending on traffic, the car usually gets to Mikumi in time for a half-day game ride.
Accommodation and dinner at Mikumi town hostels and lodges.
Upgrade to Luxury Lodge inside the Mikumi National Park for about $300 per person.
Day 2: Mikumi / Dar es Salaam (B/L/-)
After breakfast at the camp, the car departs for the game ride.
The route within the park varies during the dry and wetseasons. A boxed lunch included.
The car will arrive around in time for dinner to Dar es Salaam.

Mikumi National Park Safari & Udzungwa Rain Forest Trekking (3 Days/2 Nights)
Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Mikumi (-/L/D)
After having breakfast, we depart about AM 8 to make the 5-hour journey to Mikumi National Park.
Depending on traffic, the car usually gets to Mikumi in time for a half-day game ride.
Accommodation and dinner at Mikumi town hostels and lodges.
Upgrade to Luxury Lodge inside the Mikumi National Park for about $300 per person.
Day 2: Mikumi - Udzungwa (B/L/D)
After breakfast, the car departs for the game ride. The route within the park varies during the dry
and wet seasons. Boxed lunch included.
The gate fees allow for 24 hours in the park, so the game ride will last until the time the car entered
the park the day before.
In the afternoon, we drive to Udzungwa National Park for dinner and 1-night accommodation at a
local hostel outside of the park.
Day 3: Udzungwa - Mikumi / Dar es Salaam (B/L/-)
After breakfast, we depart for a day of trekking inside the Udzungwa Rain Forest with stops at
waterfalls and watering holes.
We will depart Udzungwa and arrive in Dar in time for dinner.

Selous Game Reserve Safari (3 Days/2 Nights)
As the largest game reserve in the world, yet scarce with tourists, Selous Game Reserve is home to
many animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. The thick bush inhabits many
primates including the white colobus monkeys and bush babies.
Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Selous (-/L/D)
After having breakfast, we depart about AM 9 to make the approximately 6-hour journey to Selous.
We arrive at a tented camp, along the Rufiji River for a nice dinner and 2-nights’ accommodation.
You can add 2-hour Rufiji River boating Safari for $50 per person for the afternoon.
Day 2: Selous (B/L/D)
After breakfast we depart for a full day game drive in Selous around the lakes and hot volcanic
springs that boxed lunch included.
We return for dinner at the Camp.
Day 3: Selous / Dar es Salaam (B/L/-)
After breakfast we depart for a game ride in Selous that will include a boxed lunch.
We depart Selous to Dar around PM 3. We stop in Kipiti town on the way.
TO ADD: You can add one more safari day and the last day is for Rufiji River boating safari morning
hours.

Ruaha National Park (5 Days/4 Nights)
Ruaha National Park, situated around the Great Ruaha River, is one of the most beautiful national
parks in Tanzania. The animals are completely wild, and the scenery is unforgettable. The journey
from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha is also very scenic as you travel through Morogoro, Mikumi National
Park, and the mountainous regions of Southern Tanzania.
Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Iringa (-/L/D)
After breakfast we depart around AM 8 to make about 8 hour journey to Iringa. Lunch stop is in
Mikumi Town.
We have a dinner and 1 night accommodation at Iringa town.
Day 2: Iringa / Ruaha (B/L/D)
After breakfast we depart for the final 120 km from Iringa to Ruaha National Park and we pass
through the Hehe tribal rural villages. After about 2 hours’ drive add on possible animal viewing
stops on the way, we pass by and drop extra luggage’s at our lodge
Thereon we move on for a half day game drive before returning to the lodge for a dinner.
Day 3: Ruaha (B/L/D)
After breakfast we depart for a full day game drive that including a boxed lunch. We return for
dinner at the lodge.
Day 4: Iringa / Ruaha (B/L/D)
After breakfast we depart for a morning game ride including a boxed lunch. We depart back to Iringa
town around PM 2. At Iringa we stay overnight dinner included.
Day 5: Iringa / Dar es Salaam (B/L/-)
After breakfast at the hotel, we start driving back to Dar es Salaam. Our Lunch stop is in Mikumi
Town.
Safari Highlights:
You will see an abundant number of animals, missing the rhino though. Animals: Elephants, giraffes,
impalas, kudu, zebras, lions, more than 400 bird species, more than 1,000 flowering plants, and
seasonally changing scenery.

Maasai Land/Serengeti/N’Gorongoro Crater/Lake Manyara Safari (4 Days/3 Nights)
“SERENGETI A”
Day 1: Moshi / Maasai Land / Karatu (-/L/D)
After breakfast we depart for a 4-hour trip to Maasai Land near the town of Mto wa Mbu. We stop
for light lunch on the way.
A tour guide will lead you around the Maasai village and provide a brief history of their nomadic
lifestyle. You will also be able to visit some of our projects in the Maasai village including a nursery
and primary school, Maasai warriors teaching programs, and women’s groups. Accommodation and
dinner at hostel in Karatu.
Day 2: Karatu / Serengeti (B/L/D)
After breakfast we drive towards the N’gorongoro Conservation Area with a short stop at the crater
rim viewing point along the 5-hour journey to the Serengeti Naabi Gate. Plenty of wildlife to be seen
on the way. We enjoy our boxed lunch at the gate. After lunch we enter Serengeti National Park for
half-day game viewing. Accommodation depends on the season.
Day 3: Serengeti / N’gorongoro / Karatu (B/L/D)
After breakfast we move for a morning game drive in the Serengeti. Thereon we head to the
N’gorongoro Conservation Area gate. Boxed lunch will be provided at the gate. We reach the
N’gorongoro crater in the afternoon. We descend to the N’gorongoro crater for about 3 hours game
drive. Accommodation and dinner in a hostel in Karatu town.
Day 4: Karatu / Lake Manyara / Moshi (B/L/-)
After breakfast move to Lake Manyara National Park, a 30 min car ride away. We have a half-day
game drive inside Lake Manyara National Park. Box lunch included. In the afternoon the car will
begin the 4-hour trip back to Moshi.
Safari Highlights:
The scenery surrounding the N’gorongoro Crater is unforgettable. You will meet Maasai in their
native village.
Serengeti is most famous for its annual migration of over one and a half million white bearded (or
brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 zebras. Serengeti National Park is widely regarded as the best
wildlife reserve in Africa due to its density of predators and prey.
Animals: You will have chance to see all the big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, &
Buffalo) during this safari and so much more!
*NOTE: Art in Tanzania has been building up a school for the Maasai village using the safari income.

Maasai Land / Serengeti (2 Days) / N’Gorongoro Crater (4 Days/3 Nights) “Serengeti B”
This trip gives you extensive view of Serengeti and you also visit at Maasai land and N’gorongoro
crater. Well known for having many lions, the Serengeti is also home to many cheetahs, hyenas, and
leopards. Depending on the season this is an ultimate safari to follow the Great Migration.
Day 1: Moshi / Maasai Land / Karatu (-/L/D)
The safari start up is about AM 8 for the 3–4-hour trip to Maasai Land near the town of Mto wa
Mbu.
A tour guide will lead you around the Maasai village and provide a brief history of their nomadic
lifestyle. You will also be able to visit some of our projects in the Maasai village.
Dinner and overnight at the hostel in Karatu town at the N’gorongoro rim.
Day 2: Karatu / Serengeti (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we travel towards the N’gorongoro Conservation Area with a short stop at the crater
rim viewing point along the 5-hour journey to the Naabi Gate where we enjoy our boxed lunch. On
the way we can see plenty of wildlife.
After the break we enter the Serengeti National Park for half-day game viewing.
Accommodation varies depending on the season.
Day 3: Serengeti (B/L/D)
After breakfast we start your full-day Serengeti game drive. A box lunch will be provided. Animals to
look for: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, gazelle, topi, eland, waterbuck, hyena,
baboon, impala, African wild dog, and giraffe.
Accommodation varies depending on the season.
Day 4: Serengeti / N’gorongoro / Karatu (B/L/D)
After breakfast we drive to the N’gorongoro crater gate. We drive down to the N’gorongoro crater
bottom, and you will have a half-day drive in the amazing crater packed with animals. Box Lunch
included.
Around PM 4 we start drive to the Karatu hostel for dinner and accommodation. Next morning we
drive back to Moshi.
