This 5-day tour package takes visitors to the beaches of Murud Janjira and Dapoli in North Maharashtra. Day 1 includes travel from Mumbai to Murud Janjira beach. Day 2 features a visit to the 16th century Janjira fort and other local sights. Day 3 involves travel to Dapoli and a visit to the Harnai fishing port. Day 4 includes a dolphin safari by boat and seeing the Panhalekaji caves. The final day consists of return travel to Mumbai, concluding the beach experience tour of North Maharashtra.

THE NORTH MAHARASHTRA BEACH EXPERIENCE:
Murud Janjira beach – Dapoli beach
DAY 01: MUMBAI – MURUD JANJIRA
Morning, pick up from your Mumbai Hotel at 0630 hours. Leave for Murud Janjira Beach by road (165 km). Arrive
Hotel at Murud Janjiraand and check in. Evening at leisure on the beach or explore the small beach town on your own.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02: MURUD JANJIRA
Morning after breakfast visit Janjira fort of the 16th century, surrounded by the majestic Arabian sea from all the sides
the Janjira fort, is located in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. Once the strong hold of Siddy dynasty, the fort has
gained a reputation as an impregnable fort, since it had withstood so many attacks of the mighty Marathas and the
British. Also visit Garambi Dam and Falls (best visited in the monsoon and early winter) Garabhi dam is the source of
water supply to the town. Also visit the Ahmedganj Palace. The palace grounds hold a marvelous mosque and the
tombs of the previous rulers. A mixture of Mughal and Gothic style architecture makes an elegant mansion. Evening
spend time on the beach. Overnight in the hotel. (B)
DAY 03: MURUD JANJIRA – DAPOLI
Morning after an early breakfast leave for Murud Harnai’s Karde Beach (153 km). Arrive and check in at the hotel.
Evening visit Harnai Port. Harnai port is the main fishing village. Every evening hundreds of fishing boats come back
after fishing and gather to auction their catch. The fish auction is the essential trade step between fish landings and
the trade. Business worth lakhs of rupees is carried out daily between 4 pm to 7 pm. Overnight at the hotel. (B)
DAY 04: DAPOLI
Early morning around 0600 hours leave for a Dolphin Safari by boat. On most days you will see endless dolphins
coming close to your boat. Afternoon visit Panhalekaji Caves (20 km). A series of 29 ancient Hindu and Buddhist, rock
cut caves believed to be more than a thousand years old. These caves are located on the banks of the “Kotjai” river.
Evening at leisure on the beach. Overnight at the hotel. (B)
DAY 05: DAPOLI – MUMBAI
Morning after breakfast check out of the hotel and leave for Mumbai. (220 km) Arrive Mumbai and drop at your
Mumbai or Panvel Hotel / Chatrapati Shivaji Int. Airport / CST Terminus for onward destination. Tour ends. (B)
