The Evanston Public Library provides resources and programs to serve the Latino community, including over 4,000 Spanish language materials and databases that can be translated. Program highlights include a Latino literature group, films, children's programs, and EPL Latin@ Presents Angels Speak, a series of workshops held monthly in Spanish. Upcoming programs include Intercambio, a language exchange to practice English and Spanish over six sessions in June and July. The library collaborates with community partners and aims to improve outreach and access to services.

EPL Latin@ Hosts Intercambio

The Evanston Public Library is hosting 6 intercambio (language
exchange) sessions with instructor Manuel Alemรกn, bilingual parent liaison
of Evanston - Skokie School District 65. The purpose of these intercambios
is to practice speaking English and Spanish. Admission is free. Only 40
spaces available! Registration required. You may register online and select
