Chiefexecutivevoicemails

  1. 1. Why are they too busy to answer the phone?!?
  2. 2.  If you called the leaders of China, India and Japan, what would their answering machine message say? Create a voicemail message for each leader. Wen Jiabo- China, Dr. Singh – India, Yoshihiko Noda Japan (3 messages total!) Use the information from your chart to create an accurate voicemail for what the leader could be doing. You may use this prompt:“Hello. This is the voicemail of ________. Sorry I’m not able to answer my phone right now. I’m busy ______________________________________.”
  3. 3.  Thenext 3 slides are examples. Please do not copy them! Use your chart and notes to create your own “factual” voicemail messages. Youmay choose to write your messages in PowerPoint form or on a Word document.
  4. 4.  Namaste! You have reached the voicemail of Prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. I cannot come to my phone right now because I am out making sure that all citizens18 and over are registered to vote. I should be able to return your call as soon as I contact all of these citizens and remind them to vote for the President, Prime minister, and members of parliament. Have a nice day!
  5. 5.  Why are you calling me? I probably won’t listen to what you have to say unless you’re a member of the Cuban Communist Party. Quit calling me.
  6. 6.  Konnichiwa! You have reached the voicemail of Emperor Horohito. I am out at a tea ceremony! I will call you back as soon as I return from my trip even though my arms will be tired from all the waving.
  7. 7.  Ansley Bennett created this document and it has been modified for use by M. Weekes.
