1. Uconn’s unique dance organization is unlike any other dance club located on the UConn campus. The members of Premier Dance Troupe are participants of a newly found organization at Uconn. 2. PREMIER DANCE TROUPE started out as Pivotal Motion Dance Team in the Fall of 2008. the team represents energy, technique, and a new purpose. The choreography is unique, the team is diverse, and the passion for dance is seen in every movement . Photo Credit: Harold Butler

3. PREMIER DANCE TROUPE is a group of 8-11 UConn students who come together willingly to share their common love and passion for dance. Premier Dance Troupe encourages diversity in dance. 4. Essentially, This organization is not mandatory in attendance. However, it does bring students of the UConn community together who have a common love for dance. 5. Premier Dance troupe participates in UConn’s Lip Sync and guest appears in UConn Dance Companies fall and spring shows. Anyone can choreograph in this dance company. Those interested must try out and choreograph a 30 second dance number and perform it in front of the dance team captains and chair members and wait to hear if their piece will be selected for the upcoming season.
