Responsible for organizing information systems, electronic data processing, computer programming and systems analysis. They are also responsible for evaluating the use of the organization's technology and its needs. Technology directors recommend improvements like software and hardware upgrades and implement organizational policies, procedures and goals.
Provide recommendations to the board of trustees and the superintendent discovered by the curriculum committee to achieve high success for students
Responsible for the overall operation of the schools. Also the responsibility for facilitating their school's interactions with parents and others in the school community.
Evaluates laws, regulations and practices relative to technology and its use in schools. They also communicate with state regulators regarding technology-related matters. Lastly the planning of professional development activities for technology coordinators and staff and all school personnel on matters related to technology.
Learn the strategies taught by trainers and implement them to students.

Microsoft Outlook: Teach faculty and staff to use the communication device to respond and receive messages in a timely manner. Smart Board: Teach faculty and staff the strategies and internet explorations that lead to content based lessons. Use the technology to connect the lessons to real-life situations. Power point: Use strategies to teach students how implement the software to summarize stories and show information learned through various avenues of learning.
The evaluation system can motivate staff to do their best for themselves and the practice by promoting staff recognition and improving communication. Evaluations should be conducted fairly, consistently and objectively to protect the Faculty and Staff. An effective performance evaluation system has standardized evaluation forms, performance measures, feedback guidelines and disciplinary procedures.
