After conducting a survey on Facebook about homelessness, the document analyzes the results. Only 5 responses were received because the questions required explanations instead of multiple choice answers. An analysis of the responses showed that 4 out of the 5 people who answered were between the ages of 16-24, which aligns with the respondent's friend group on Facebook being primarily in that age range.

1. As you can see here, after putting my survey Facebook I was left
with five responses. I believe I only got a minimal amount of
answers due to my questions requiring explanatory answers
rather than multi choice.
By looking at my results here set out in a graph, I can see that 4
of the 5 people people that answered my questionnaire are
between the ages of 16-24. This will be due to the fact that the
majority of my friends list on Facebook are between the ages of
16-21.

2. Example #1
1) I asked this question because I believed it would be a good question to gather a variety
of opinions on the country as a whole. The number of reports of people becoming
homeless has risen in the past 5 years overall in the UK, it was interesting to see peoples
thoughts on the overall impact.
2) This was more personal and
required an answered based
again on personal opinion.
Often, especially in young
people – they turn to “sofa-
surfing”, which involves moving
from one home to
another, such as friends or
members of the family that
cannot offer a permanent
lodge.
Getting responses from people
roughly around 16-19 related
to this in terms of young
people turning to friends or
family members in the event of
being kicked out of their
homes.
3) The reason I chose this question is to make the reader
think about their personal views on homelessness and to
whether or not a person would intestinally make themselves
homeless. Often this is not the case, 75% of reports on
homelessness are people who have being forced on the
streets to personal or financial issues.

3. Example #2
5) This question relates more to funding and volunteering to prevent and help homelessness, rather
than overall views. This gives an overall conclusion as to how young people respond to homeless
people and the overall issues. For instance this response says that a charity based on teenagers would
be good to support, this can be to do with a personal connection between people of the same age or
just general preference.
6) People often are cautious of
homeless people due to them being
strangers, it’s an interesting point to
switch the situation around to if it
was an individuals friend and see
what response you would get.
People often feel more comfortable
and protective over supporting a
friend they know well compared to a
stranger who they don’t know at all.
7) It’s always interesting to see what
people think about when they think
of the particular word “homeless”.
There is a strong stereotype on the
term such as that they sleep in
doorways etc. And in this particular
response are “scary”.
