  3. 3. PROJECT NARRATIVEThe Concho River and Trails Improvement project was created from the 1/2 centsales tax to renovate and improve the great treasure that runs through San Angelo:our river. Directives from the City were to:1. Provide as much bank stabilization as possible for our budget, using long term andaesthetically pleasing solutions.2. Design new trails and renovate existing trails.3. Design appropriate features/amenities along the trail that would enhance theriver experience for all.4. Pay extra attention to the downtown core area.
