How I Made My Magazine Front Cover
The first thing that I did was add a background
to the front cover I had an idea of what colours I
wanted and then found the right colour and
stuck with it. I then added the masthead, it took
me a while to choose the font but then I chose
the one that I thought well suited the genre of
my magazine. The next thing that I did was add
the image of the artist, I had already edited it,
by gettingof the background, and then I just
placed it where I wanted it.
The things that I did on the
background were add a
gradient, overlay and effects.
I then added the name of the
artist which is ‘Enzo’ and I put
the artists name in red, but
then I thought that it didn’t look
right so I decided to change it.

I then chose to have it in black
because I thought it looked
more professional and
sophisticated.
I then added the top sell line,
and I added this to make my
magazine seem more realistic,
and I made it the same colour
as my masthead but I thought
that it looked a bit too much
because it was two things that
were the same colour.
So then I changed the colour
and chose a colour that was
similar to the jacket that the
artists I swearing, so that it
matches.

I then added the barcode
which I got of the internet, and
added the price of my
magazine.
Next I added the issue of the
magazine and the date that it
is being released.
I then added some of the
cover lines, and I didn’t want
all of them to be the same
colour so I didn’t some of it the
same colour as the top
sellsline and some of them the
same colour as the masthead.

I then added the rest of the
cover lines and both of them
were linked to the artist ‘Enzo’,
one is a quote, and another is
a statement about him.
