EVALUATION - FEBRUARY – MAY 2010
Evaluation of the work done until the moment (achievements/problems/ difficulties)In all the countries, the students have completed the information in the blog. Then they wrote nine questions for the quiz. They also chose five pictures. Then they read and translated the texts of two countries. They wrote a  letter to the partner students and read/ translated the partners’ letters.There were some problems in accessing the Internet in some countries. There were also some problems in translating the blog and the students needed a lot of help from their teachers.The students haven’t commented the partners’ blog yet.
Planning further work  from May till June What we need to do: Comment the partners’ blog.
 Write a second letter and paste it in the blog.
 Prepare the final year exhibition (in some countries). Other countries have a permanent exhibition.
 Complete the blog with pictures of the meeting in Madrid and the exhibitions.
Write and send the final report.Planning further work - the second year of projectIn most of the countries, the students won’t be the same so they willstart the 2nd year of project by writing a letter of presentation to their partners.
Planning further work  the second year of projectThe students must think about these questions:What words and phrases does a traveller need to know when visiting our country?In which situations would the person need to use our language to communicate?
SOME DECISIONS The blog (second part)In the meeting the teachers chose five topics for the second part of the dictionary which will be the following: greeting and introducing someone; going to the restaurant; travelling and asking directions, going shopping; small talk. This last topic is free. They have also decided that each topic will have ten to fifteen words, five phrases and one dialogue. All the vocabulary will be written and audio recorded and the dialogues will be video recorded. The students can also add some drawings, if they want to. The words and texts must be pasted in the blog until the meeting in Finland , which will be from 12th untill16th January 2011. The recordings must be sent in a cd to the coordinator until the end of March.

    The multimedia dictionary1stpage will have all countries’ flags, the name of the project, the Comenius symbol and the Slovenian poster (which was the winner in Slovakia).2nd page - there will be an oral presentation of the project with a gif image.Then people click in the country’s flag and will find two buttons:CultureLanguageThe culture part is the one which is already in the blog.

    CommunicationamongpartnersThe teachers’ e-mailsmust be sent to everyone.The students will write an e-mail every two months and it will also be pasted in the blog.
