Introduction
This work corresponds to the second unit of the English Assessment subject. It
consists on the creation, or adaptation, of two rubrics, one holistic and other
analytic. Both rubrics evaluate the performance of students of a high-school
located in Coronel. The tasks were planned according to Planes y Programas of
second year high-school.

Task description: Students will listen to a history by the teacher talking about the
different types of devices. They will have to answer some simple questions about
the information and characteristics of the devices. Teacher will give the first
example.

Task description: Students will select a famous chilean actor to write a mini-
biography of the chosen character in a paragraph. Students must include the
answers to the following questions:
When and where were He/She born?
Who was the most influential person to Him/Her as a child?
How many movies has He/She starred in?
What was His/Her most important role?
What are His/Her future aspirations?
