2. DIGESTION
Digestion converts the food into nutrients.
ABSORPTION
The nutrients past to the blood through
capillaries wich are found in the villi.
EXCRETION
The body expuls the remains through the anus.
3. RESPIRATION Through respiration we absorb oxygen and release carbon dioxide.
There are two process in respiration: pulmonary ventilation and gas exchange.
PULMONARY VENTILATION. Is the movement of air into and out of the
lungs. There are two movemets: inspiration and expiration.
INSPIRATION. Your diaphragm contracts and your chest expands. This makes your
lung widen and become larger. The air past through your nostrils and claened by
mucus and the fine hairs inside the nasal cavities. The air travels through your
larynx, into your windpipe, into the bronqui and your bronchioles and reaches your
lungs.
EXPIRATION. Your diaphragm relaxes and your chest contracts. The lungs deflate
and are small. The air travels through your bronchioles, bronchi, windpipe and
larynx.
GAS EXCHANGE. The gas Exchange occurs in the alveoli.Oxygen passes into your
blood and carbon dioxide passes to your lungs and leave the body.

5. CIRCULATION
THE HEART
In the heart are four chumbers: two atria and
two ventricles.They are communicate
through valves.The heart contracts
and expands to push blood through
beating.Two phases:
-Systole: The heart contracts and
sends blood to the arteries.
-Dyastole: The heart relaxes
and blood enters from the veins.
6. CIRCULATION
HOW YOUR BLOOD MOVES AROUND YOUR BODY
Blood circulation is the journey that your blood
takes around your body. This journey is
divided into two circuits:
-Pulmonary circulation: This is the route
that your blood takes from the heart to the lungs.
-General circulation: This is the route
that your blood takes around the rest of our body.
In circulation are three blood cells:
Red blood cells, White blood cells and platelets.
7. EXCRETION
The excretory system consists of the
urinary
system and the sweat glands.
THE URINARY SYSTEM
In the urinary system are four organs:
Kidneys: Are two bean-shaped
that filter the blood.
Ureters: are two tubes
that link the kidneys to the bladder.
Bladder: Is a muscular
cavity where urine is stored.
Urethra: Is a tube that connect
the bladder to the exterior.
