Artist research project

2. The project outline
 You will form groups of no more than 4
people
 You will chose a painter to investigate
 You will create a presentation either on
GOOGLE slides or Power point
 You will upload the link our edmodo
page
 You will create a poster showing the
information from your research.

3. Research details
 Full name of the artist
 Birthdate and place
 Education background
 3 interesting facts (can be art related but
they don’t have to be)
 The style the artist worked in, ex:
impressionism, dada, pop art, etc
 Three famous works of art, the location of
the artwork, the medium of the artwork and
a photo of the artwork

4. Presentation details
 Your presentation needs to be 7 slides minimum
 It needs to have the information required
 It should have interesting backgrounds or
images that relate to their style
 The second to last slide needs to be the works
sited
 The last page needs to have the group members
names and what they did for the project
 Presentation needs to be uploaded to
EDMODO, please follow the example I provided
on the EDMODO page.

5. Poster details
 You need to create a poster about your
artist. Think about their style, how can
you incorporate their style into the
poster?
 Your poster must include:
their name
birthdate
the 3 interesting facts and
3 examples of their work.

6. Final instructions
 You will have 5 class days to work on
this
 There will be 2 days allotted for the
library
 At least one person in your group needs
to have an electronic device that can
connect to the internet AND create your
presentation
