Establishment of linkages with various universities, organizations and companies. Considerable media exposure for the project and involved parties throughout the exhibit run of Biomodd[LBA2]
32. Issues, Challenges And Limitations There have been conflicts regarding the importance of heat. A higher level of interaction between computers and living components has already been conceptualized but yet to be successfully implemented. Difficulties in melding traditional and contemporary art remain. The installation requires a significant amount of maintenance. The collaborative nature of the project requires a good number of people that complement each others’ skills to ensure a smooth designing and building process. Biomodd continues to be difficult to explain to people as it has proven to mean different things to different people. Biomodd does not aim to save the world. As a science project, it can even be considered as a paradox. But as an art project, it is a powerful symbol for possibilities.
