6. Step 1: Install EasyPHP

9. Click “Next”

10. Click on ‘I accept the agreement’ and click “Next”

11. Click “Next”

12. This is the installation location. Click “Next”

13. Start Menu Folder. Click “Next”

14. Click “Install” to begin Installation

15. Installation complete. Click “Finish”

18. If EasyPHP is started, the EasyPHP Icon appears on the System Tray

19. Right Click on the EasyPHP Icon And click on “Administration”

22. Step 2: Create openbiblio database

23. Create a new database using phpMyAdmin Click PHPMYADMIN

24. Type openbiblio and click “ Create”

25. Type openbiblio and click “ Create”

26. Database openbiblio has been created

27. Step 3: Create openbiblio database user

28. Click on “ Privileges”

29. Click on “ Add a new User”

31. Click on “ Grant all privileges on database “ openbiblio”

32. Under Global Privileges, Click “ Check All”

33. All Privileges Selected. Now, scroll down and Click “Go”

35. You have added a new User openbiblio

36. Step 4: Extract openbiblio files to web server

37. Extract openbiblio Zip file using any Extracting utility such as winzip or winrar or 7zip

40. Step 5: Enter database name and database user settings

41. Open database_constants.php file using wordpad or any other text editor

42. Enter database name, database username and password here

43. In this illustration, Database name, Username and Password all are openbiblio. After entering, Save the file and close

44. Create a new folder ‘ tmp’ in C drive to hold PHP session data

46. Step 6: Set tmp folder to hold php session data

48. Find out the line ;session.save_path = “/tmp” Remove semicolon at the beginning and add c: before /tmp

50. Step 6: Run Installation script

51. Open any web browser such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and type http://localhost/openbiblio/install/index.php Click “Go” or the arrow or press Enter

52. Database connection is good. Click “Install” to install openbiblio. If you want some sample records to be installed, check “Install Test Data” and then Click “Install”

53. Openbiblio has been installed successfully. Click start using OpenBiblio to login
