WHAT IS WEB HOSTING • Web hosting is a necessity for any website. • Web hosting is an online service that enables you to publish your website or web application on the internet • When you sign up for a hosting service, you basically rent some space on a server on which you can store all the files and data necessary for your website to work properly. • A Server is a physical computer that suns without any interruption so that your website is available all the time for anyone who wants to see it.
  2. How to upload files using File Manager To upload a file in File Manager: 1. Log in to cPanel. 2. In the Files section, click File Manager.
  3. 3. In the upper right-hand corner, click on Settings. 4. Select Web Root and Show Hidden Files (dotfiles), then click Save
  4. Web Root will take you directly to the folder in your hosting account that is visible to the world wide web. This is typically the public_html or www folder and is where your website files will need to reside. 5. Locate and click the folder where you'd like to upload files. 6. Once inside the folder, click on Upload located at the top toolbar
