9. First Reason>>>
Africa is the most difficult place to live
Employed persons living in a household where earnings are less than
$1 per person a day are considered the „working poor‟. In sub-Saharan
Africa, over half the workers fall into this category.
10. About 29,000 children under the age of
five – 21 each minute – die every day.
Causes: diarrhoea, malaria, neonatal
infection, pneumonia, preterm delivery,
or lack of oxygen at birth.
Around 38 million children of primary
school age in this region are still out of
school.
Only a quarter of children of secondary
school age are in secondary school
11. Malaria kills a child somewhere in the
world every 30 seconds.
12. Second Reason>>>
Helping people in need improves your self-worth
You will feel good about it.
Giving some of our income to others that is worse off
than us can make us appreciate more of what we
have.
You can change yourself, and change the world!!!
13. Third Reason>>>
Show that you care; charitable donations are
a direct reflection of your values and
perspectives.
You are Contributing towards something that you
feel has importance.
Cultivating an “abundance mentality.”
• Moving from scarcity to abundance in one‟s outlook can
be a cause to increase one‟s personal fortune.

Smile Africa I‟m writing this letter to thank Chris
Achieves Ellom for the things that you‟ve done
for us and thanks to Oupa for the
photos (with) Miss South Africa, 1998.
The book that I‟ve reading is talking
about Gorillas and it was wonderful and
thanks for the flag that you gave me.
One day I will give you one of South
Africa and I will like to meet you. Again
thanks Smile Africa and I will like to get
another book. Keep those books
coming. I want to read another
wonderful book.
Yours faithfully,
Paul Muchabela
20. Conclusion

MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU, BUT IT DOES
MEAN SOMETHING TO THOSE IN NEEDS.
