1. Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Sun Nuclear Corporation has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Manager in its Melbourne,
Florida headquarters office. The Human Resources Manager will be an active business partner
responsible for managing the day to day administration of the Talent Management Program which
includes, but is not limited to, workforce planning and staffing, performance management, learning and
development, employee engagement and communications, total rewards (compensation, benefits and
other reward and recognition), HRIS and metrics. Additionally, the HR Manager will act as a trusted
business partner, coach and consultant for managers, associates and other business partners.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Workforce Planning and Staffing
Develop and implement efficient and effective staffing strategies and processes to ensure all jobs are filled
with highly qualified candidates. Identify recruiting sources such as social media, employment agencies
including negotiating and controlling related fees.
Ensure hiring managers are trained on structured interview and selection process.
Create and implement effective on-boarding process.
Performance Management and Employee Development
Design and implement performance management process to include performance goals and
competencies. Train managers and associate on performance management philosophy, performance
appraisal process and development planning.
Partner with managers to create associate training programs for compliance, skill development and culture.
Administer Leadership Development Program.
Employee Engagement and Communications
Consultant and counselor to associates as needed.
Create associate communication program.
Administer employee engagement programs to include associate roundtable sessions, engagement surveys,
etc.
Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits and Other Recognition Programs)
Manage group benefit programs in partnership with benefit vendors and providers.
Conduct annual audit to ensure benefit programs remain competitive, relevant and compliant with local,
state and federal guidelines and laws and make recommendations for changes as deemed appropriate.
Manage the annual open enrollment process.
2. Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
Maintain all employee data (pay, titles, benefits, special pay, employment status, etc.) to highest standards
of accuracy and compliance.
Manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) in partnership with IT and Finance.
Skills & Experience:
Strong computer skills and acumen to include business tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook and HRIS tools.
General business acumen and ability to understand the company strategy and align HR initiatives.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Effective communication skills to include active listening, speaking (1:1 and in large groups) and written.
Interpersonal, teamwork and consulting skills.
Flexibility to work with associates at all levels, from entry level associates to senior management.

Change Management
Academic & Industry Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management or other related discipline. Master’s
degree in relevant field is a plus.
Eight to ten years of working experience and knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines with
emphasis on managing compensation, performance management and employee benefit plans.
In-depth knowledge of relevant Employment Law such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, etc. Ability to
effectively interpret and apply HR compliance requirements.
Member of SHRM and active participant in continuous personal development is a plus.
