3. Context: The Villa Durazzo-
Pallavicini and its park are located in Pegli,
in the west end of Genoa.
Attached to the villa there is the Ligurian
Archeology Museum, one of the finest
nationally.
The park and the extraordinary botanical
garden are open daily.
5. Strategy: User Centered Design
Users are at the center of the design process.

Managing data in a central database.

Interaction with many different methodologies
and with the integration of management,
access and data transmission techniques.

A Video vigilance system. (Axis, Mobotics)
7. Reflections:
- Giving an answer to the need of contact between
man and nature.
- Giving an answer to citizens request to make
City’s green areas, parks and villas, a cleaner and
safer place.
- Use new tecnologies for assessing citizens
wishes;
- Involve users and stakeholders in Genova Smart
City action planning with living labs.
