2. Initially our original idea
was to have a close up
shot of the performer
with a straight face and
have graffiti covering
the performers face.
However it was difficult
to do on photoshoot
and also made the
digipak front cover look
more like it would be for
a dance artist rather
than a pop artist, which
could confuse our
audience.
3. We want the magazine promotion to relate to the digipak so we
chose to use this photo for both the cover of the digipak and the
magazine. Unfortunately we were unable to remove all of the
green screen as there were bits of hair that we could not remove
the green from so we decided on a different photo.
4. For the digipak we
wanted to use a
extreme close up shot
of the performers lips
as there is a extreme
close up of the lips in
the music video. So we
thought this would
help the digipak to
relate to the music
video. We tried out a
range of shots and we
decided the tongue
shots, because of the
piercing these shots
are inappropriate for
our young audience.
5. In the digipak
we chose these
two photos to
be included into
them and our
plan it to make
them very bright
and to change
the colour of the
lips and eyes to
make them
really stand out
from the
background
which will be
the graffiti wall.
6. We tried a
variation of
shots for the
magazine and
these were
some of our
shots. We new
we wanted a
straight on shot
so we took
some close up,
long shots and
mid shots that
are on the next
slide.
7. We decided on
the mid shot of
the performer
blowing a kiss to
digipak e on the
cover of the and
the magazine as
it fits our genre
of pop music as
we thought it
was a fun shot
and it highlights
the performer
being young and
having fun.
