2. Paper #1 McDonalds Visit
• I learned how innovation plays an important role in
successful companies
• Began to learn the importance of writing concise
• Had to re write this paper and followed directions better
3. Paper #2 Team
Experience
• This was a happy assignment for me that brought back
my High School Cross Country Team Memories
• I got to reflect back on different stages of the team
building that we struggled with and analyze it from a
new perspective
• This was an assignment that took a real life personal
event and connect it with class material
4. Paper #3 Cengage
Writing Experience
• This was a new type of assignment where the computer
graded my essay
• It was a very frustrating assignment since I did not learn
anything other than computer grading should not apply
to writing
• I had to re write this assignment for a better grade even
though I was proud of my original work
5. Paper #4 Manager
Interview
• This interview gave me a real life connection to the
material we are learning in class
• I learned that managers have a unique perspective when
approaching employees and experience plays a large
role
• I learned that I would also be a Theory X manager since I
also witness a lot of slacking on the job
6. CS #1 Lamb Consulting
(CH. 5)
• I learned that the idea of sexual harassment in the
workplace is very much real and it reminded me of the
hardships I had to go through in my own experiences
with it

harassment (or other issues) can be very strict but if not
enforced, it means nothing
• The views of an owner reflect strongly upon the
employees of a company
7. CS # 2 American Images

business have some sort of business plan
• It is important to have employees be a part of the
planning/idea process so that more ideas are
incorporated to ensure success
• If I opened my own business I would open the books up
to my employees so that they know exactly where to
company stands financially
8. CS #3 Xerox
(Ch. 13)
• Diversity is a very important aspect in businesses now-a-days
• It does not matter if the employees like one another as
long as they can successfully work together
• Diversity brings many different ideas together in one
area and is a very valuable asset to a company
9. CS #4 A Captain’s Tale
• A level 5 manager is humble, shows humility, is a great
leader and listener
• The Captain in this Case Study is completely a level 5
manager, very much unlike Steve Jobs
• It was amazing to see how one person can change the
dynamic of a ship/organization with such success
10. SA 1 Bio Poem
• I did my project on Coco Chanel, I loved this assignment
and I had a lot of fun dressing up as her and writing my
speech
• The Biography had so many interesting things about her
that it was very hard to pick a few to speak about, I did
not want say too much
• I was not that nervous about presenting because I
wanted to own my character and Chanel is never
nervous
11. SA 2 Who to Hire
• My group members Mark and Ana were the best, they
were great at communicating their ideas to me and I did
the writing
• We all worked very well together and I was very
grateful since a few groups around us did not seem to
get along well at all
• I learned that working in a group that works well
together brings success to everyone in the group. We got
maximum points on pretty much everything we turned
in together.
12. SA #3 Learning Log
• This assignment gave me a chance to reflect back on the
