2. The Context
1. We started this Case Study by creating a new Facebook Page:
“Cara’s Dream Cupcakes”.
2. The main goal of the page is to share new and unique recipes
or decorating ideas that we find online, to inspire our
followers.
3. Next, we created a new standard campaign in Mass Planner
(this step is not necessary if you plan to implement this
manually)
4. In What to Publish > Content Suggestions tab we search on
Pinterest for cupcakes recipes.
5. After several searches, with different keywords, we managed
to find about 30 image posts for our page and added them to
our Post Queue for the Standard Campaign.
6. We kept the source URL, to give the credits to the original
author of the images and recipes, and we started sharing the
posts on our new Facebook Page.

3. Setting UpTheTest
1. While we shared the recipes and images found online on our newly created Facebook Page, we started
searching for Facebook Groups for our niche with Group Finder.
2. We searched for groups where we could post cakes and cupcakes recipes and beautiful images.
3. We found and joined about 6 relevant groups: mostly with about 2k members, one with 31k and 1 with
over 100k members. For the testing proposes 6 groups were enough, but you can easily scale this method
with 10 times better results than we had.
4. We then created a Destination List with the groups we found.
5. Next, we created aVolume Campaign to set up the Group Share functionality for the content on our Page.
Meaning that we will automatically share all the Page’s posts to the destination list from the previous
step. (To do this manually you need to share each post on the niche groups, at regular intervals.)

4. How to set up Group Share
1. Go to Campaigns
2. Click on Add Campaign
3. Select Volume Campaign
4. Choose What to Publish
5. Go to Group Share Post
6. Add your Facebook Page URL in the “Add Facebook Page” field and click on the corresponding button.
7. Go to Where to Publish and choose the destination created previously – with the groups found in your
niche.
8. In the Overview tab (the 1st tab) choose to Start Publishing.
9. This will automatically extract new posts from your Page and share them to the destinations selected for
the volume campaign.

5. TheTest
So, to make a quick recap:
• we have a standard campaign posting 2 times per day
cupcakes photos and recipes found on Pinterest (with original
URL and credits to the author) on our Facebook Page
• a destination list containing 6 Facebook targeted groups
• a volume campaign that will automatically share the posts
from the Page to the groups.
At first, we shared only 2 times per day on the joined groups – we
were trying to test the waters.
The results were amazing! People started sharing, commenting
and liking the post.

6. Results – the first 3 days!
After only a day we jumped from 0 to 64 Page likes!
The second day we had 85 likes to our Page and the 3rd day we hit
the milestone of the 100 Page likes.
With about 6 shares we hit 100 likes for our Page.
