1. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a musician from Austria. He was born in the village of
Salzburgo on 27th
January 1756. He died in 1791.
When he was 4 he was happy seeing his big sister playing the piano all the day and when his
father taught him to do minuets. At the age of five, he was already composing little pieces,
which he played to his father who wrote them down, and when he was 8 he wrote his first
symphony. DuringMozart's youth,hisfamilymade several Europeanjourneysinwhichhe and
Nannerl performed as child prodigies. These began with an exhibition in 1762 at the court of
Prince MaximilianIIIof Bavaria in Munich, and at the Imperial Courts in Vienna and Prague. A
long concert tour followed for three and a half years, taking the family to a lot of different
courts inEurope.Mozart wrote hisfirstsymphony when he was eight years old. It is probable
that his father transcribed most of it for him.
Mozart was travellingthe nextyears and doing concerts all over Europe with other musicians
and famous bands. In 1781 he went to Vienna where he married Constanze Weber. Today, a
lot of people know who he was due to his music talent when was only a kid. He was a
prodigy in the music world.
