Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was an Austrian composer born in 1756 in Salzburg who began performing at a young age under his father's tutelage rather than attending school. He had a successful music career, giving piano lessons and performing concerts in Salzburg and Vienna, where he became well known before his untimely death in 1791 at the age of 35. One of his most famous compositions was The Magic Flute.
