I. Introduction:
1. Content : State the topic, general purpose and specific purpose very clear.
2. Grapping Attention : Interest the audiences by statistic, and importance of the topic.
3. Definition : Define the key term in the topic academically ( in-text citation )
4. Credibility : Provide the personal experiences, and references to be realizable.
5. Preview the main ideas: Constructing the outline of main points in thesis statement clearly.
II. Body
1. Credibility : Providing credible source by in-text citation, and endnote with
references and bibliography academically.
2. Context : Detail information bases on the sources, and experts ‘speech formally.
3. Development : Logical and reasonable information with high critical thinking skills.
4. Adaptation to audience: Stressed, and paused occasionally according to level of information.
5. Eye-contact : Maintaining eye contacts fairly to the audiences for engaging them.
III. Conclusion
1. Final review : Brief the main points of the speech clearly, and coherently.
2. Conclusion remark : Tie back to the audiences, and recall the thesis statement academically
3. Voice : Confident voice without distraction soundness, or unclear soundness.
4. Timing : Exactly 6 minutes long ( between 4-6 minutes )
5. Confidence : Deliver the speech confidently, and coherently.
Badness of My Speech
1. Body language : Not so often used during the introduction, and conclusion.
2. Attire : Not a business suits.
Overall Judgments
This speech is done and delivered academically, and coherently, however, the speaker is not so
professional with body language, and using business attires to show his credibility and professionalism.
