Kaci Griffin – Sample Diet for One Day
7. FURTHER DIET ANALYSIS
• Both diets have decent amount of protein which the diet
focuses on.
• Both diets lack the daily amount of calories recommended
• The diets hard to maintain to do the lack of types of foods that
can be eaten and the small portions that must be consumed.
• This diet could be remedy with switching up foods daily to
make up for nutrients you missed the day before.
• Overall, the diet is hard to improve because of the nature of why
you need the diet. The stomach is so much smaller, you can only
hold so much food, making it hard to get everything you need.
This makes the diet sort of dangerous until your body adjusts.
The diet needs to be monitored greatly and planned efficiently
to be successful.
8. GROUP CONSENSUS
Adequacy: This diet isn’t very adequate due to the stomach being only hold to so
much. It limits what you can eat and how much, but the diet focuses on protein
and it usually fulfills that requirement.
Balance: The diet isn’t very balanced. As stated, previously, it loads on protein.
Usually, lacks an magnitude of calories and nutrients depending on what the
person choose to eat for the day.
Calorically Sound: This diet is not calorically sound, lack about 1200—1500 calories.
Nutrient Dense: It really depends on what the person choose s to eat for the day. If
they are smart they can select nutrient dense foods. This requires proper planning
ahead of time though. Although, the PubMed article notes how difficult this can
really be as women after 3 years aren’t getting all the necessary nutrients.
Variety: The diet can have variety, again, its up to the person to decide.
Expense & Time: The diet isn’t expensive, as you can buy in bulk, and have food for
many days afterwards since the person can only eat such small amounts.
Scientific Support: The diet has been researched multiple times. The articles/websites
we used are only a few examples.
