2. FIGURES FROM DOUGH
PURPOSE: To develop fine motor skills of the children’s hand
MATERIALS REQUIRED :Salty dough,different figure templates,water and oil paints,glitter,foil
CONSTRUCTION: Childrem make dough following the recipe:1 cup of flour,half a cup of water,1 cup
of glue,1 cup of salt,1 teaspoon of oil.Using this dough and the templates, the children make
different figures.After they are dried,they colour them with paints,decorate them with glitter and
foil.
The figures are suitable for decorating the Christmas tree,a wreath or presents.

7. GEOMETRICAL SHAPES
PURPOSE: To reinforce the knowledge of children about the geometrical figures –
circle,square,rectangle and triangle.
MATERIALS REQUIRED: Colorful sheets of paper,templetes of geometrical shapes of different
size,scissors,colour pencils,glue.
CONSTRUCTION: Children outline and cut geometrical shapes of different size and colour.
GAME DESCRIPTION:When the shapes are ready they are put in the centre.Children take a piece of
paper,choose from the ready shapes and make a picture of their own.They stick the shapes and the
pictures are displayed.

13. ARITHMETIC DOMINO
PURPOSE:Reinforcing children’s awareness of the numbers from 1 to 6
MATERIALS REQUIRED:Rectangular cards divided into two.On one square are written the numbers
1-6,black paper,scissors,pencils.,glue
CONSTRUCTION:Every child receives 6 cards on which there are numbers from 1 to 6.They cut and
and glue the empty square with black circles showing the number that is written on the other side
of the rectangle.
GAME DESCRIPTION: The cards are collected and mixed.Each participant takes 4 cards.The child
who has the highest number starts the game.The participants put cards following the rule to put a
figure image of the same number next to the same number or vice versa.The winner is the one who
first finishes his/her cards.
