6. SFB Starfish Babies (ages 6 months– 5 years)
This course creates a high comfort level in the water for very young children, while
training parents and caregivers in water safety and drowning prevention. Children
will build confidence in a fun and safe environment. One adult per child must
attend each class. (Equivalent to Parent & Tot)
SPS Starfish Preschool 1-3 (ages 3 – 5 years)
Children will continue to develop their comfort level in the water and also work
towards development of five core competencies. Color stage awards will be
distributed based on personal swimming achievements. These color stages will
be used to divide the students into ability groups. (Equivalent to Preschool 1,2,3).
**Participation in StarBabies or equivalent program is highly recommended before
enrollment in this course.
