• KLCC is an Urban Park as it is located in the centre of city to cater
the needs of urban people.

• Serves as a landscape
for PETRONAS Twin
Tower
• To showcase the
tropical plant in
Malaysia
• Provide a green space
for people to relax and
do various activities
• To sooth the hustle and
bustle atmosphere of
the city

7. Park Features
• The Park has a unique lake symphony
that its fountain that can shoot up 42
meters high water and perform various
water tricks for people to admire.

• The Park provides a 1.3 km long jogging
track covered with a special rubberised
material for the comfort and safety of
people when they are doing exercise.
• As people get thirsty, the park also provide
a drinking water fountain for people to
quench their thirst.

9. Park Features
• The Park has many ornamental features such as the waterfalls,
fountains, cascade, and reflecting pools. The reflecting pool has
a decorative whale sculpture.

• Next to the reflection pool,
there is a wading pool
specially for children to play
water and cool their body
under the hot sun.
• Parents can also sit beside the
wading pool and watch their
children.

• There is a playground too as the alternative choice for
children to play around with each other.

• The park has a mosque which is As Syakirin Mosque. It is open
for tourists to visit.

• The park has around 1,900 species of
native Malaysia tree planted around the
park. The plants in the park also attracted
many birds to visit the park therefore
sometimes you can hear the bird chirping.
• Some of the plants in KLCC park are
endanger species and have put at the
park for conservation and to showcase to
people.
