For many years now, I have been teaching drivers that ALCOHOL, in any form
(which includes Cold Medicines & other Over The Counter “Medicines” ), is a
poison and a Central Nervous System Depressant (CNSD).
It is also one of the biggest liars you will ever meet. It is a poison that makes you
feel good as it destroys you; it deceives you into thinking you are OK when you
are not; and as a CNSD, it won’t allow you to know how bad you are getting, by
shutting down, systematically, your nervous system (which includes the brain
and the nerves, as well as your inhibitions)
